Nice Winter Cache
The cache is located in Waubeek, Iowa in a small park located on the Wapsipinicon River, that honors three area veterans from World War II. The cache is an ammo can and located not far from the plaque that states:
In Grateful Tribute to our boys.
Who gave their lives for our country.
Leo H Miles 1918-1942 (died age 24)
Francis D Miles 1920-1944 (died age 24)
Russell G Miner 1917-1943 (died age 26)
The park is located in a beautiful area, but watch your steps as there are some drop offs.
