Parking Coordinates:

N 34 14.182

Etowah Trail is an easy hard packed trail close to the Boling Park walking tracks and the Etowah River.
This is a white blazed trail that will eventually go alongside the River.

You will experience much wildlife, and interesting flora and fauna.
Great to discover with family and friends or - just to hike alone.

Trip to the cache is about 1 mile.

You will not have to leave a trail until you are within a few yards of the cache. No bushwacking required.

The trail may be confusing at times, so don't be tempted to turn off trail, untill after you have crossed the elevated Boy Scouts of America bridge which is at these coordinates:

N 34 14.652

W 084 30.211

This large bridge, other foot bridges and of course the trail,
was constructed by BSA Troop 241.

{Thank You Troop 241!}

Soon after the bridge, you will need to fork right onto the yellow blaze trail @

N 34 14.647

W 084 30.240

Then be sure and check coords to head off to find the 777 Heaven cache! @

N 34 14.777

W 084 30.255

Remember - no bushwhacking needed - just slight elevation off trail up to cache.

You are looking for a military "Mortar Tube" protected in a large dayglo yellow waterproof bag.

This is a med to large cache and is positioned carefully because of that fact.

Please replace exactly as found. Taking care to close bag for watertightness.

Full leaves on the trees and satellite positioning may make satellite coords loopy or inacccurate at times....

But you will find this one. ( :

If you choose to travel on, you will find a small waterfall, many
interesting rock formations and eventually the white blaze trail will bring you to: New Hightower Baptist Church and cemetary.
