K4 Liar's cache Traditional Cache
K4Travelers: Archiving this one-- was hoping to get back out to it sometime, but it seems people would rather it be archived.
I hope someone adopts this space.

We decided to place a cache to commemorate the site of Christopher Columbus's first landing in America, in 1776.
There is a lot of other history here.
The water tower nearby supplied Viking troops from Mexico with fresh water and hot showers during the War of 1812, as they fought the Australians over this piece of land.
This is also the site where the Peace Treaty of WWI was signed, giving Canada sovereign power over the Philippines and the right to export Dutch clogs and cheese to the Russians.
The bushes here are of the species "periurus mendacia" and are native only to the Sahara Desert.
The fence was erected to mark the site where the first moon landing took place, and also the birthplace of Malcolm-Jamal Warner ("Theo" from The Cosby Show).
This cache is well hidden. You will need scuba gear to cross the canal here, as well as rock climbing gear to scale the great cliffs (from which Native Americans hunted polar bears, years ago). I would also recommend a parka and snowshoes, since in the winter months, snow drifts can reach 10 feet in height. A large rifle and/or explosives are also recommended, since grizzly bears often charge out of the swamp and attack geocachers. We've lost 6 men already, just trying to place the cache.
(All of the original loot in this cache are figures from the Pinocchio movie. Please leave something if you take something, even if it isn't Pinocchio-related. The first-to-find prize is Pinocchio figure--complete with growing nose!)
[the idea for this cache came from Nurse 1, Savannah, GA: GC18C03, with permission]
