Geocache Description:

I was in California recently and just about every cache that I went to required a short walk to get to the cache. After doing a handful, I realized how much I like those types of caches so I decided to hide one like that at home.

My favorite Disney characters are Winnie the Pooh and friends so this cache is dedicated to them. Winnie the Pooh and friends live in the Hundred Acre Wood, hence the cache name.

This cache is located in Stoney Creek Park...deep inside the park. This is definitely not a park and grab. Parking is located on Ash Street. Please do not park on any side streets. There is a well defined trail up until about 50 feet from the cache. Once you get to the loblolly pine, then you are close to the area where you need to hang a right. You will be looking for a large ammo can. PLEASE cover it well before leaving the cache site so it is completely hidden!!

I recommend a walking stick, long pants, and bug spray to find this cache. Bring your dog along with you; I'm sure he'll enjoy the walk! It is about .8 miles round trip from parking to cache. If you come across some strange smells on your way, it is only the heffalumps and woozles. No need to worry.

Daylight hours only!! DO NOT TRY THIS ONE AT NIGHT!!
