Geocache Description:

A small plastic container with log book,pencil and small items. A little scrambling on and around rocks is required, hence the 3.5 difficulty.

This is cache is for my uncle Joe. He loves Palomar Mountain and has been coming up here for years. Lately his health has been declining, but not his spirit. Chumley and I went to visit his cabin to get it ready for this winter and thought it appropriate to place a cache in an area that he loved with a view that always makes you stop and simply say, "wow". This cache is located just off the east grade. A little scrambling around rocks is required, hence the 3.5 difficulty, but it is not really that bad. You can safely park your car right next to the cache with out worry about getting in the way of traffic. Please stop, find us, leave a note and then sit back and enjoy the same view that has kept Uncle Joe and Aunt Mary Ann going all these years.
