El viejo
pueblo La Albarrada está localizado en los valles de las montañas
de Chamuscada. Juntos con Las Montañetas es una de las primeras
aldeas construidas después da la conquista. Ambos lugares
estuvieron unas en localizaciones más altas de la isla, como que
los habitantes alli encontraron suficiente aqua y también fueron
relativamente bien protegidos contra ataques de las piratas. La
Albarrada es un pueblo abandonado con imagen fantástico, es
solamente reconocible como aldea de sus cimientos construidos por
piedras del campo y de sus caminos pavimentados. Este lugar fue
abandonado en la mitad del penultimo siglo.

The old
locality La Albarrada lies in the valleys of the Chamuscada
mountains. Together with Las Montanetas it is one of the first
villages which was built after the conquest. Both places could be
found in higher locations of the island, since there the
inhabitants would find enough water and were also relatively well
protected against pirate attacks. La Albarrada is a "ghost
village", it is only recognizable as a village by their foundation
walls built by using the stones found on the fields and by the
partly paved country-lanes. This place was abandoned in the middle
of the penultimate century.

Die alte
Ortschaft La Albarrada liegt in den Tälern der Chamuscada-Berge.
Zusammen mit Las Montanetas ist sie eines der ersten nach der
Eroberung entstandenen Dörfer. Beide befinden sich in höheren Lagen
der Insel, da die Bewohner dort ausreichend Wasser fanden und auch
vor Piratenangriffen einigermaßen geschützt waren. La Albarrada ist
eine "Geisterstadt", sie ist nur noch an ihren Grundmauern aus
Lesestein und teilweise gepflasterten Wegen als Dorf erkennbar.
Dieser Ort wurde Mitte des vorletzten Jahrhunderts verlassen.
