This is a 2 part cache, and some background research is needed in order to find the second stage.
The coordinates listed above will bring you to the grave of an important resident of Fayetteville. You will need to use information found on the tombstone and also available on-line in order to find the second part of the cache. Please only hunt for this cache during cemetery hours, which are dawn till dusk. Also please limit searches for the final stage to 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. You must e-mail me with the writing on the back side of the tombstone to log this cache-even if you already know the coordinates for the final stage. You will need to do some research to determine the coordinates for stage 2, using the following formula: N43' AB.CDE, W076' FG.HIJ.
A= the number of siblings this person had.
B= the total number of children in the family, including this person.
C= the sum of the last two digits of the year of this person's first major speech
DE= the last two digits in the year this person got married.
FG=the last two digits of the year in which this person's son-in-law published the first book of the series which made him famous.
H= Number of children this person had including the one who died in infancy.
I=Last digit in the year this person first voted in a political election, (not just tried to vote.)
J=The last digit of the year this person died.
I am putting a small FTF gift of 2 batteries in the cache. None of my TB's fit, so don't count on putting in trades, though I did put in some small items in case any kids get there first! There is a pencil in the container, but please bring one along, just in case, since these tend to disappear.
I obtained permission to place the final stage of the cache (the only part that has a container.) Please feel free to e-mail me to verify coordinates before you head to part 2! It sounds like people are having trouble with reception at the 2nd stage. Think like a cacher. You are looking for a largish pill container. Good luck!
