Small tupperware, and yes it's in FULL CAMO and tucked into the base of an oak. I had a more patriotic theme in mind for this cache until I placed it today and decided that 1 just didn't fit for the land route!
Terrain rating for this cache is an average: if you come by land it's easily a 4 star. It's .6 miles from closest parking as the crow flies (at least 1 mile as the cacher hikes - more if the lake is full) and there's no trail. There are some game trails you can use, in fact the cache is hidden just off of one, but they go right through PO quite often. Depending on the level of the lake you could go up and down a lot to shorten the length - but it's not an easy up and down. Trust me! If you come by lake it's a 2 star when the water is high. With the lake level today it's much more like the listed 3 - you'll see when you get there - look up!
How come no-one's made a trail on this side of the lake anyway?!!
Several small toys were included at time of hiding, as well as an untrackable "crappy cache" GC I just didn't have the heart to put into anyone else's cache, and none of mine fit - until now! I've also launched my new PaleoSpecies GC to add extra incentive...
