Geocache Description:

This should be a nice walk along the Butternut Canal Feeder off of Andrews Road in De Witt, New York.

Richards Park is a undeveloped natural space along the Butternut Canal Feeder in DeWitt, New York. It is a nice place to take a quiet walk and see geese or ducks along with other wildlife. There are a number of small parks in DeWitt and I thought that this one needed a geocache to bring people to it. It should be a pretty easy hike along a flat path that starts on Andrews Road and heads north towards Route 5. The cache is a key case with a log. Please BYOP.

**You will NOT have to do any climbing to find this cache. It is located very close to ground level.**

Update as of 5/8/2016 - I have replaced the very old broken magnetic key case with a Tupperware container. The location has not changed. Since it is a little bigger you might be able to leave small trades. Thanks to everyone that has helped maintain this cache over the years.
