Wenckheim-Almássy castle
On the place of the castle Jakab Lowenberg, who was the owner of the Keszi-, GYulavári-, Kétegyházi plains has made a homestead been built in 1716. At the end of the XVIII. century the Wenckheim family had got the ownership of the plains. Probably the castle that places in Gyulavár has been made in this time too. In the second half of the XIX. century the castle's owner changed to the Almássy family. He moved to the castle with his wife Ella Károlyi. Through the way of a marriage Jeno Pongráz will be the lord of the estate. Before the secon World War a mill, a brickyard, a distillery and a meat-manufactoring industry had been joined to the estate.
After 1948 it has been appropriated and the local co-operative farm uses it. After the farm closed down the ownerless building started to perish. In 2001 it has been declared to a sheltered monument. In 2007 it has been renewed.
