Errand 3: Baseball Practice Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Baseball Mom: It's with sadness that I'm archiving this errand. Photo_gal and I enjoyed one last walk to stage 1 to confirm that it indeed gone. Stage 1 has gone missing several times over the years and the container for that stage was "special". Those who found it know what I'm talking about and I sincerely thank you for taking the time to do my first ever cache. On the bright side, I can recycle the final container for another cache another time and now a section of the park is open to another cacher to claim.

Geocache Description:

Cache is located in a nice Loudoun County park with many ammenities including ball fields, recreation center, farm museum and hiking trails.

This is a 2-stage cache, which may be done while your kid is at baseball or swim team practice.

Stage 1 is a micro in the woods. This stage has the directions to the final stage.

Stage 2 is an ammo box initially loaded with kid-friendly trading items.

To minimize bushwhacking, stage 1 is close to the white trail. Please do not bushwack between stages. The trails will get you very close to the final.

Park hours are dawn to dusk.

The trails can get muddy after heavy rains. Stage 1 may get thorny in the warmer months. Dress accordingly!
