Geocache Description:

This is a Micro cache at Newmillerdam Country Park, Wakefield. Newmillerdam Country Park covers 237 acres of woodland and water, by the village of Newmillerdam.

The cache is placed in woodland, so GPS coverage may be erratic, but with the generous hint it shouldn't be too hard to find - a bit of searching will be required.

Please take the time to have an enjoyable walk around the country park, the paths around the water are suitable for pushchairs; but the woodland paths where the cache is hidden are steep, uneven and can become very muddy. Parking is available and is £1 for 2 hours; which is enough time to walk around, visit the cache, and have an ice cream at the local ice cream van or cafe!
