A Little Background

That’s right, folks, this here spot was just screaming out for a cache. It’s just too darned ordinary a spot as it is, what with there being no particular reason you might want to visit, no compelling interest in looking around or even a terribly difficult road to get there.

It’s just a plain-old “spot”. That is, until this cache was placed here. NOW IT’S A DESTINATION! It’s not just a bush off some lonely and forgotten road any more, nor an anonymous point on a map without a view. Now it’s where you’re headed to find the cache. That alone makes it important, compelling and critical you show up. In fact, if this cache weren’t here you’d probably avoid this spot assiduously, or at least drive by without slowing down.

So this spot needed a cache. At least it wasn’t tossed out a window at high speed or placed on private property… …this time…

What’s Wrong With It?

At the risk of sounding sacrilegious, there doesn’t have to be a cache every 528 feet.

How Do You Fix That Again?

Spend a little more time with that incredible idea you had and find a truly unique spot the rest of us haven’t seen. The difference between this and a lot of fun is just 10 minutes of thought.

Better Choices in the Area
