Geocache Description:

A cache at a bridge on the Nickel Plate Trail just south of the town of Miami.

This cache has been placed with the permission of Nickel Plate Trail, Inc.

This cache on the Nickel Plate Trail is at a bridge over a branch of Deer Creek. The cache is a troll hidden in a spot that only a taller person can reach without a step. Since I needed a step myself to place it, I left behind the cut piece of firewood that I used so others can also use it. Cache container is a lock-n-lock with the usual assorted trade items and includes a Nickel Plate Trail pathtag for the first cacher that has not acquired one yet.

There always seems to be a number of people using this section of the trail when I have been here so you may have to be a bit stealthy. There is a parking area in the town of Miami that I have included a waypoint for. The hint is a bit of a spoiler on this one.
