Geocache Description:


Interesting historical marker located on HWY 79 near Hot Springs, SD. Very cool story about a neat man. We'll let you read the history while signing the log. Actually, go to this website or just google the name: (visit link)

A great cache for any history buff.

Signs will warn you of the marker just 1000 feet before arrival so be ready or you'll miss it. Plenty of parking. This is a magnetic container, big enough for a log book and maybe small coins. Not to difficult. We decided this area needed another cache to welcome the traveleling geocacher. Good luck and have fun.
