Some history about the location:
This road is a straight, quarter mile long track, and was commonly used as a spot for illegal drag races in the 70's and 80's. High school and college students liked to show off their new cars by racing them against other kids with new cars. This street earned the nickname "the quarter mile" as a result.
That's the reason behind the otherwise random placement of this cache. There is ample room to pull over on either side and there shouldn't be any problems with finding it.
