This cache is for the placement of survival items that you believe are deemed necassary for wilderness survival. It is a place to drop off some of your survival items. Not an exchange of items. In the log one can write of anything related to survival or of their experiences related to such. As this is an interesting activity and is shared by most outdoor adventurist's. It maybe used as an example for others in the construction of their own with the help of all of us. It is off the Long Trail or Applachain Trail and may attract visitors from the world who have something to contribute. I am not sure if this type has been attempted before but lets see where this may lead. So please do log your visits in the log book as well as any information you would like to share on the topic with others. Also please log you visit online.
I anticpate we all will learn from this in many ways.
Please do try to keep the trade items to a minumum as this is not the sole purpose of this cache it is more of an educational cache. I started the cache off with some improvised fire starters, a book of matches and an improvised water cup besides the log book(journal).
Pen or pencil is required.
I hope everyone enjoys the idea and the cache.
