Geocache Description:

You are looking for a Lock-n-Lock plastic container about the size of two lantern batteries strapped together.

This cache is a tribute to my cat, Fred. Don't worry, he is not buried here.

I got Fred from Dog and Kitty City in Dallas 6 years ago. He had been there with 200+ other cats (yes, 200) for over a year. He was dropped off in bad shape after being ran over over by a car ( possibly by his owner's car!). He had pins placed in his hips and walked walked with a bit of a limp.

He was a long haired black cat, very unassuming, very low maintainence. He enjoyed table scraps, especially ham, and watching the Cowboys, Mavs, and Stars sitting next to me on the couch or sitting in my lap.

Early in 2008 he was diagnosed with terminal renal failure and he crossed The Rainbow Bridge on the morning of 11/1/2008. He was 18 years old. A long life for a good fella.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
So long brother, we'll see each other again on the other side.
