located on the eddyville sand prairie ( mahaska county section ). just off highway 63 take the eddyville raceway exit
this is the third cache we have placed on this preserve. it is quite a bit larger than your average micro, making it much easier to find, however signing the log may prove to be more challenging. if you choose to come and find this, we suggest also finding( The Other Sand Prairie) cache. it will lead you to the parking area for this preserve. we also suggest finding ( birds of a feather) the third cache located on this preserve. this area is managed by the Mahaska county conservation board, many thanks to them for giving permission to place this cache. this is a cache in trash out area. there is no hunting allowed on this preserve.remember to bring a pen for this one.
