Lupembe! - Church
Church of Lupembe



Church - That church was buildt in the beginning 20th century by German missionaries and also today it is used for sunday services.

Lupembe - Lupembe is a small village surrounded by tea-fields in the really beautiful Southern Highlands of Tanzania. The Lutheran District of Lupembe has a partnership with district of Rosenheim in Germany, were I come from. So I'm very often in Lupembe to visit friends and plan projects, e.g. youth-camps. You can reach there from the crossing in the north of Njombe (at the village of Kibena) in eastern direction and after 70km you will arrive. There is a Guesthouse in the part of the village with the shops (called Barazani). But you can also ask at the church for a bed in the house of the district-office. And please: Don't forget to give them many greetings from me, felixx. Thanks.
