Geocache Description:

Cow Close Fell

This cache is located on Cow Close Fell overlooking Littondale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. On a clear day there are fantastic views North along the valley to Halton Gill and West to Pen-Y-Ghent. There are no established routes to the cache though you could approach from the Pennine Way at the top of Fountains Fell or directly up Wilson's Pasture & Cow Close Fell from Litton (a steep climb). Cow Close Fell Trig is only a stones throw away from the cache and stands about 7 feet tall due to the soil erosion around it.
As always there's an awesome 'First To Find' medallion enclosed for one lucky cacher. Have fun!

And there's more.......

If you liked this cache there are many more 'Sykesfamily' caches in similar, awe inspiring locations scattered around the Yorkshire Dales National Park and surrounding valleys. So grab your walking boots, pack your sandwiches, leave your troubles behind and head for the hills .... Enjoy!!
