Geocache Description:

A small camo cache for you to SL.

This 60-foot replica of Stephen F. Austin stands on a 12-foot base in the 10-acre Henry William Munson Park located on Hwy. 288 in Angleton. This monumental sculpture was created by David Addicks in 2005. It promotes the observation, appreciation and recognition of the importance of Brazoria County’s history to Texas. Few realize that the Park also features a Texas-shaped one acre lake that serves as the focal point for a planned 900-foot ‘Walk of Honor’ which is to pay tribute to county residents who have made a significant impact on the county since 1469.
