NEFGA will be hosting our Sixth Annual Caching for the Holidays
event on Sat.- December 13, at Ronnie Van Zant Park in Lake Asbury.
Event starts at 11am and lunch will be served around noon, after
the event activities. Event activitys will include but not be
limited to some of the following: Rusty Ammo Can Gift
Trade Off, special door prize game. The NEFGA Board will be serving
fresh sub sandwiches for a traditonal Saturday Park Picnic. Please
plan on bringing a side dish and/or baked goods to compliment the
entree. Please post what you plan on bringing, so we can get a good
variety. Ronnie Van Zant Park is an 85-acre park located at 2760
Sandridge Road off CR 739 B in the Penney Farms/Lake Asbury area,
and provides both activity-based and resource-based facilities.
Activity-based facilities include two basketball courts, four
tennis courts, one soccer field, one softball field, seven covered
pavilions with picnic areas, one volleyball court, and a fishing
pond with four fishing piers. The resource-based facilities consist
of nature trails and additional picnic areas
