Fairies are born when a baby laughs for the first time. And...because fairies and children are bound to each other by belief, it's important that children believe in fairies. You see...if children stopped believing, fairies would fade away and disappear.
Iridessa is a bright, intelligent, and disciplined fairy. She is Fairy Mary's star pupil; after all she studies very hard. Sometimes she's a little too nervous, and she has trouble trusting Tinker Bell because Tink tends to goof off. But Iridessa will be there if she's needed. Safe and sound in her sunflower home, Iridessa resides in Morning Glow Meadow.
