Born in the season of green,
to early, so small.
Left us in the season of white,
to soon, to quickly.
He doubtless did his best,
As childrens sunset's yellow play,
Softly sinks the trembling sun.
Never saw a wave,
Never saw the sea,
Never spoke to God.
How great the heavens
When earth cannot be had.
This boy passes back and forth in our brains
As always in Heaven.
