We figured that it was about time for the busy North Vernon City Park to diversify and offer something for all geocachers who have been ignored and made feel unimportant here until now. NVPR offers baseball, basketball, skateboarding, RC dirt track racing, farmers market, tennis, swimming pool, playgrounds and shelter houses. For information on any of these activities, consult their website at www.nvpr.org . If you didn't know already, North Vernon has a lot of railroad history and celebrates "Railroad Days" with a festival every year. This one just happens to be a nano to commemorate a significant event that started 2 days before this cache was listed. B.O. now has the opportunity to get this train back on the tracks.
