The lake Ølja is located in the very north of Nordmarka, 528 meters above seal level. It is an excellent starting point for hiking, (Nordic!) skiing, camping, biking, canoeing, fishing and any other way of wilderness experience you want to enjoy.
Nearby attractions are Svarttjernshøgda, Nordmarka’s highest peak 717 meters above sea level, Kolleren twin peaks #1, #2 and Puttmyrene, where Oslo’s natural water source initiates.

Ølja is accessible by car - fee 40 kroner - both from Olimb on “Highway” 35 between Jevnaker and Lunner and from Jevnaker (passing Svenådalen and Tverrsjøstallen).
The cache is a military food container, placed on the east side of the road.
