Geocache Description:

Recently I saw THIS in the parking lot of a local XXXXX Joint while I was out geocaching after church, giving blood and helping a little old lady cross a street. I was abhorred and should have called Animal Cops right away but the closest precinct is in Detroit.

Help Me

So adorable and fuzzy with pleading eyes and proud jaw.

Please Save Me

The temperature inside a closed vehicle can quickly reach the dangerous, even lethal, level. It can shoot up from 78 degrees to 110 degrees in six minutes. Within half an hour, the temperature can reach 137 degrees, as shown by the thermometer below. A dog runs a normal temperature of 101 to 102 degrees. At 108 degrees, the heart, brain, liver, kidneys and intestinal tracts begin to break down.

Dogs Are NOT Allowed On These Premises
So if you must leave them in your vehicle be sure to park somewhere in the shade, leave the windows open far enough, give them a drink and don't be gone long. If you ever see a dog locked in a vehicle in the sun, do something to save it's life.

Take a walk within the only botanical garden in the region. The Toledo Botanical Garden is a museum for plants and a center for horticulture and the arts. Over 60 acres containing display gardens, plant collections, sculptures, ponds and a whole lot more. A great place to hike around on the many paved and hard packed surface pathways. You will find parking from either Elmer Dr or W Bancroft St. Open free to the public with the exception of special events. Garden hours are 8:00am-8:00pm (April-September) and 8:00am-5:30pm (October-March).

You're hunting a recycled Good Dog container with original paint job, put in service 4/1/04, mothballed 11/25/2007 and now returned to active duty. It'll hold a coin or two but bring your own pencil. If you go off trail you might have to wipe your feet before leaving.

The canine used in the photograph is a professional actor from Remoolia and in reality leads a pampered and luxury life. Some may recognize his image, but he ain't Lassie
