An event for the young and the young at heart. Come help us
celebrate the holiday season! 11:00 am till ?
I have reserved the pavilion at Pelahatchie Shore Park for the
day. Lunch will be pot luck. Bring your family, someone else's
family, your favorite dish and beverage, and be ready to have a
good time swapping caching stories, TB's, geocoins, and good cheer!
There are a bunch of good caches in the immediate area, and we plan
to have a fun night cache run ending up at Woodduck Manor. Everyone
is welcome to attend, and we look forward to a big crowd and a
great event.
Amagrud will be displaying his entire geocoin collection, and
others are encouraged to bring coins and TB's for discovery and
icon harvesting. If you are interested in trading coins, put that
in your "will attend" log so that other attendees will remember to
bring their trade coins. We will also be awarding a few 1k
milestone awards, and will have an MSGA hat and polo shirt as door
prizes.
If you are a beginning geocacher, this is a great way to make
new friends and hone your skills by caching with other experienced
geocachers. If you are a salty veteran, you know that this is a
great way to renew friendships, relax and swap TB's, caching
stories and adventures.
