Geocache Description:

In an attempt to scare children into good behavior around Christmas, some parents would often tell their kids that Santa would fill their stockings with coal instead of presents. Sometimes this strategy worked and parents got a couple of weeks of good behavior in winter. When first placed, this traditional cache contained: 2 decorated lumps of coal; a snowman ornament; a Red Hat snowlady pin; 3 nutcrackers; a pirate coin; an antique Decatur postcard; a set of antique salt and pepper shakers, an energy crystal, a log book and pencils, and a first to find token.
