Island Cache on Merrimack River, Manchester, NH #4 in a series along the river. Look for the other MRCC caches!
In November of 2008 the Kruegerfour set out to place our first caches. We were so inspired by Meandmydogs river cache series further up North (starts in Franklin, NH) on the mighty Merrimack that we wanted to place most of the caches on islands or water only accessible locations so that more people can enjoy the River and all its splendor. Starting boat ramp can be found at N42 58.929, W071 28.050. There is a boat ramp in Merrimack NH N42 52.847, W071 28.326 that you can exit or go all the way to Nashua like we did and exit the river at N42 47.025 W071 27.516, about 16 miles downriver. We look forward to see the reports and photos of your journey.
Initial Items placed in cache are beads, Red Clip, Quarter, Beads, Dice and Crayons
Suggest running the short rapids on the East side of the river.
