Welcome To Stoke-sub-Hamdon!
This cache will take you on a lovely walk around our village. We suggest you park in the free car park in the village, then walk along the High Street to the first stage. You will see evidence of previous shops, many now converted to houses. Look out on your right as you come to the end of the houses for some miniature hamstone properties!
There's a great view of part of Stoke, and a bench to enjoy it from, as you reach the first waypoint - take the path here that leads down the hill. At Stage 1 will you find the co-ordinates to lead you to the final cache hidden within the village! It's within a few feet of the co-ordinates. From the final cache to get you back to the car park, carry on along the path to the road and turn left - making a circular walk of just about 1 mile, passing some lovely houses, and the National Trust Priory along the way.
