Geocache Description:

This is the third and final sequel to our doomed first SEND MORE MONEY cache, and is dedicated to the ultimate money-grabbers in this town. It steals yet another concept from binthair’s wonderful Four Tall Ones (GCD2F3). No significant hiking is involved at the cache site, but there are pleasant opportunities for doing so nearby.

These money-grabbers have two main bastions in Ottawa – one for their mucky-mucks and one for their nerds. The SW corners of the highest buildings of these two main bastions are 5234 m. apart, and the posted coordinates are for a point half way along a straight line between these SW corners.

The cache is located (11.4 x Q) m. perpendicularly from a point on this straight line that is (0.57 x Z)% of its length from one of its ends.

To determine Q and Z, simply solve these two relatively simple puzzles.

PUZZLE #1 The folks to whom this cache is dedicated have a real penchant for GLOSSY METALS, especially those in our jeans. What 3-word phrase, often used by those upon whom geocachers rely, can be produced using these 12 capitalized letters? Sum the numerical equivalents of the first letters of these three words and call that sum Q.

PUZZLE #2 Determine the next number (Z) in this series: 1 3 3 5 6 3 10 3 12 Z.

The deviously hidden cache is a pill bottle (used to be a small peanut butter jar, but ants loved it too much) inside a much larger host.
