Mudflats are coastal wetlands that form when mud is deposited by tides or rivers. The community of plants and animals is covered with saltwater at high tide. Especially at low tide, all kinds of live shells, crabs, starfish, seahorses, shrimp and various water birds can be observed at the Punta Rassa mudflats.
The cache is on the Fort Myers side of the toll booth. The cache is a clear lock-n-lock container. Watch out for sandspurs!
