You are looking for a silver ammo can that was placed to
commemorate dmnelson23's 1000th cache find. Recommended Parking is
at N 41 30.252 W 088 10.707.
David started geocaching in early March, and set a goal of finding
his 1000th cache before the end of 2008. Averaging almost 4 finds
per day, he met his goal with weeks to spare. This should be an
easy find after a nice walk through a quiet area. There is a path
starting at the crosswalk just west of the recommended parking that
will lead you to within 20 feet of the cache. After finding the
cache you can continue along the path and loop back to the start.
The total round trip is about .7 miles.
