Geocache Description:

A traditional Cache located in the Rio Grande Bosque. Parking is available at the Alameda Open Space parking lot @ N35 11.703, W106 38.396. Day Use parking use only.

This cache is dedicated to all our fellow geocachers who lost or forgotten to bring their “Writing Stick” while out caching. With cache located and cache log in hand, nothing is worse than that sinking feeling of realizing you have no way of logging your find in the cache log. Signing this log won't be a problem. We promise!

There is a direct path to the cache by taking the upper trail that runs along the canal, but we recommend using the trail that goes through the Bosque which offers some great views of the Rio Grande river, the Bosque wildlife, and several other fun caches hidden along the trail.
