Geocache Description:

Ammo Box in the Woods near Lawyers Road Sidewalk... next to a trail behind Lawyers Glen Retirement home. PLEASE REHIDE BETTER THAN YOU FOUND THE CACHE as there will be walkers nearby often!

This cache was originally off the final piece of the sidewalk connecting Lawyer's Road to Evans Road in Mint Hill. The sidewalk stopped mysteriously for quite some time until they decided how to build it down a hill, over a creek, and up a hill.

The Cache is located in the woods off this piece of winding sidewalk. You can park on Evan's Road and go over the creek or park at the Lawyers' Glen Retirement Home. Either place would be fine to park. Enjoy the sidewalk!

The cache is now just off a nice trail (not the grassy, weedy area by the creek). To find the trail, go off the sidewalk by the creek, travel by the creek for a little and look for a good way into the woods. The trail runs parallel to the creek area and cleared grassy, weedy area next to the creek. Coordinates of the beginning of the trail at 35° 10.548', 80° 39.777'.

The Cache is a nice-sized Ammo Box, originally loaded with all kinds of kid's toys. This is a perfect place for Travel Bugs and Geocoins - lots of room.
