Geocache Description:

situated on the exposed slopes on the pot of legawherry this one is best accessed from below as this is a extremely steep mountain and down climbing to this cache is tricky . the romans couldnt have built a better arena than this one

if you are planning a day out on the hills ,i usually can make this whole round trip in a few hours,i make a start at trassey car park and follow the little lane that leads to the tea rooms, then follow small river up to the saddle between Luke's mountain and slivenaglogh,s lower slopes then follow a natural line of ascent up to the natural amphitheatre of the pot then have a quick lunch at the ww2 plane wreck [whats left of it] then push on up it can be a tough one [this is an excellent easy winter route if you can get it in condition]ther are 2 exit routes either move off to the back castles and over to the wall or the second which can be good fun but ex steep is to continue on up and make a summit of commedagh .the box has the usual stuff in it i gave this one 5 x5 stars because of the exposure and severity of the climbing when it is wet . let me know what you think and i shall downgrade it if need be, i expect the usual lads to be tftf on this one ,let me know what you think lads .thanks mac
