The Winter of our Discontent (Sidney boat launch) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

fins2right: Stolen! A shame as well. It looks like the stump I hid it in has split in half, and the very large ammo can is gone. How Ironic that I found the cache missing in Winter. Now I am truly discontented.

A boat launch cache ***Replaced small lock and lock with .30 cal freshly stocked ammo can. Please hide as you find it and the cache should not be muggled 03-31-09***

Located in a State owned boat launch on Messalonskee Lake (a.k.a. Snow Pond) I drove by this a few weeks ago and had to check twice to believe that there was no cache here. Well, now there is! Cache is located a few feet off a well worn path. The path is visible as you pull in. I imagine that this is very muggle intensive during the summer, as there are not to many public boat launches into this lake. The landing looks new and is well marked and paved. I was sitting at home today, watching the rain fall, the temp fall and listening to a report of impending snow (another four letter word for doom) and really felt the need to plant a few caches. This allowed me to work a little Shakespeare into the cache name. (Richard the Third Act 1 Scene 1) The container is a small lock and lock that holds small TB's, a log and a pen. There is a pathtag enclosed for the first to find. I will probably replace this soon with a larger cache, as soon as I can get one. Good luck and enjoy the area.
