Geocky or Geocachers of
Kentucky would like to welcome all to
our first event of 2009.
Its's been a while since Geocky had a meet-and-greet and the
cold weather makes it a fine time to have one. Hopefully everyone
has the day off, so why not spare a few hours from watching
football and come talk about geocaching?
We will be meeting in the Game room, located
upstairs, from 2 to 4 pm. There is no charge for using their
meeting room as long as Common Grounds is allowed to "fulfill our
drink and food needs".
Aside from the usual socializing, discussions will be held,
covering number of geocaching topics to help set you up for caching
success. Paperless caching, geocaching software, and GPSr
discussions are just a few topics to start.
If you have something that you want to discuss, chances are that
others may have the same questions and would benefit. Please post
any topics or ideas in order for someone to prepare and address
those topics. For those who have been around the block, please let
me know if you would be willing to help lead any discussions.
By the way, Common Grounds provides free WiFi
access so feel free to bring your wireless devices.
