It’s a long ‘haul’ up the Franciscan Loop Trail to find this Ammo Can.
A few of us went out for a ride in Carnegie OHV Park, today and I thought it would be a good time to hide a cache. You will need an ATV or Dirt bike to get to this high, hilly area.
It will cost you $5.00/day per vehicle to enter the park.
The cache is located just off the Franciscan Loop Trail. Park above; retrieve from below.
NOTE: Fellow Geocacher and Park Interpreter, eliseeagle, would like to remind seekers to, “Please use extreme caution when getting off of your vehicle to log this cache. The road is wide, but it is near a blind curve.”
There should be plenty of room to park your OHV adjacent to the trail. Please do not stop or park in the trail.
Be sure to look for ‘Wade-O’s Landlubber Cache” (GCRD9F), located elsewhere inside the OHV Park boundaries. Caches may not be available after periods of rain, due to trail closures.
