Team Incredible would like to warmly welcome all cachers, to the
The Birds and the Bees Restaurant & Bar, Easter Cornton Road,
Causewayhead, Stirling, FK9 5QU from 4ish on Saturday 10th January
2009.
The aim of the event is for everyone to have fun. To meet up
with friends, old and new and catch up and swap stories, about
caching and real life (is there life outside caching?) The plan is
for people to spend the day doing whatever they want to do with
tupperware boxes and meet up anytime after 4, for some
refreshments
Kids are welcome and the venue is wheelchair friendly, we have
been given the function suite so we can mingle and make as much
noise as we want without distrubing the other diners. We'll also
have our own bar, which will hopefully minimise waiting time for
liquid refreshments.
The restaurant does a fine range of dinners and puddings,
details are availble on their web site
http://www.thebirdsandthebees-stirling.com.
There will approximately 14 new caches placed for the event,
between ourselves, Scottiedogz and Geoarab, Please don't get upset
if that turns out to more or even slightly less. These will be
published on Thursday 8th Jan for information but not opening for
logging until the day of the event, Robert Burns has recently
placed a lot of caches around the Stirling area, so a big thank you
to him, he will also be popping in on the day
It is intended to hold a tombola to raise some funds for the
mega scotland event, so if you have any unwanted Christmas presents
or something else you would like to donate, please get in
touch.
To keep the kids amused, the incredible boys will no doubt bring
along their laptops, for as long as the batteries last. We also
plan to dig out their box of lego to see if we can keep the kids
amused, whilst us oldies blether (their words)
If you're puzzled by the event name and would like to know more,
just ask the Incredible boys at the event, if you're brave enough.
Alternatively you could always have a look here to see where it all
comes from, it is bad, consider yourself warned.

If you want to come along, we'd love to see you
