This cache has been archived.

nodderbug: Highway construction nearby created weird circumstances for this one. Time to move on and let another one be placed in this historical spot. ThanX for visiting.

Geocache Description:

EZ parking, semi-truck accessible parking just south. Micro camouflaged.

CLARK Hill is named after a local pioneer.

Great view of the devil's backbone (hogback) looking north across the Galisteo Valley. This location is at the northern edge of the Estancia Basin, extending over 60 miles south with no major drainages leaving it.

Just a few feet west of this cache is the old railroad cut for the New Mexico Central Railway, last used in the 1940's. A wooden water tank was near here for its water stop.

Sometime between Oct 19 - Oct 29, 2009, the original gallon sized cache was muggled along with the entire contents. Our condolences to the owners for the loss of these TBs:
EAGLE PATCH
FORT WORTH TRAVELING DIE
GLACIER PEAKS (MT) GREEN JEEP

This is the 3rd (third) host, cache container and log for this site. Muggles got the first two. Please replace this camo'd altoid tin exactly as you find it.
