Geocache Description:

Another spectacular view of Albany and the harbour from one of Albany's best kept secrets.

Wagon Rock is a place well known to Albany locals but hardly ever seen by visitors. Yet it is easily accessible from the main street and offers stunning views over the city and the harbour.

The cache can be approached from a number of possible angles. From York St you can walk up Serpentine Rd and then go via the Link Trail which starts at S 35 01.313 E 117 53.188. Go up the stairs then go off to the left when you get to the top. Alternately you can treat it as a drive-by by going via Munster Ave then parking in Adelaide Place.

The cache is placed near to the main rock and is hidden under a rock shelf about a metre square next to an old termite nest. Some leaf litter covers the lunchbox cache. Please don't attack any of the vegetation in the area. Be aware that any muggles on the rock will be overlooking any cache retrieval.
