Take 58th off of Wall Street to reach the parking area. Please do NOT block Clay Country residents who want to use this compost site. (only Clay county residents may drop off leaves and grass clippings) open year-round.
The official name of this place is Oakport Compost Site. It is owned by the township of Oakport and they allow anyone who can prove residence in Clay county to use this compost site. Which is really nice as the City of Moorhead one is locked gates with limited hours.
Yes-they have caught people from North Dakota who weren't smart enough to use a vehicle with Minnesota plates. I don't know what the fine is, but who wants to find out?!
