Situated above Baldy Bowl (elevation 8790') in Angeles National Forest.
Year round, I love to hike, climb and ski Mount San Antonio (Mount Baldy). Ascending by moonlight is a particular delight.
A short detour from the Ski Hut Trail leads to the cache and one of the best spots to enjoy a beautiful sunrise in Southern California. Which is what I did this morning on my way down from the summit to the Hut.
It may be unavailable with snow. No stickers in the log please. Modest swag awaits the first to visit.
