Traditional Cache hidden in the Mallee approx 4.5 km off the Calder Highway. 2wd to the cache. Dry weather is best.
This is s a relativley well known location to all the local dirt motor sports people in Sunraysia. In the 1980's they had dirt drag racing here. One of the local motorcycle clubs holds an enduro race here one weekend a year. It is also a good place to practise speedway riding. Most weekends in the cooler weather you can find people out her. Be careful of Muggles.
An easy 220mtr walk from the track. Watch out for motorcycles. They are having fun.
The cache is a 1.2 Litre Sistema clip lock container.
The road in from the highway to the cache is also a way you can get to the Murray Sunset National Park from the South. It takes you through farming land first and then into the park. It is the path of the old train line to the Gypsum mine. 4WDrive vehicles and maps are recommended in the park. There are several more cahces deep in the Murrray Sunset National Park. Two of these are GCH58M and GC1GGTG and on the way out to the North there is GC1CYF9.
