Yet another cool adventure among one of the most-beautiful narrow-gauge railroads in the world!
Coming here, you will found yourself close to the tracks of the Rodopi narrow-gauge train, one of the most-beautiful railroads in the world! It goes from Septemvri to Velingrad, Bansko and Dobrinishte! Cache site is accessible with a car of course; but the most scenic way to get it is by train! Just get off at the Tzepina train station and come back to get the cache! What you are looking for is the old Tunnel no.2; build almost 100 years ago. The little train passed thru the tunnel for some time; but later they had to build the road, and so the engineers had to leave the old tunnel and build a new one. So this one left abandoned is yet the house of our little cache. And can you believe that years ago a guy used to plant mushrooms in here? Well, he’s not at site anymore; so the tunnel is ours – for some interesting geocaching fun! Enjoy!
