The cache is located in Gilley Creek Preserve. I love it here! This spot has been a favorite and needs a cache. A visit to Gilley wouldn't be complete without at least one stop by the Awesome Oak to take a break in the shade and cool off in the creek. You’ll need it.
While the pups cool off, I usually lay on the picnic table and admire the Oaks. This one is Awesome. Stand back and follow its sweeping bows. Jump the creek just because you can, we do.

Like all of the caches in NoWhere, come prepared. It’s not for everyone. There are a lot of caches out here but they require a significant bike/hike. Do expect to travel at least 15 miles in the sun. The terrain is a mixture of grass trails and sugar sand. Wear long pants and a hat. Bring more water than you think that you are going to need. Yes you’ll probably need lunch. Sunscreen is good, shady days are better. I usually figure on the “front end “ of Gilley taking about 45 min to hike (without picking up any caches on the way) before you reach NoWhere.
