Skeeter wanted to call this the grab a Wing, Grab A Cache cache. But it is, after all, Thanksgiving!
This is not a great cache, but sometimes you work with what you have. Geocachers have always found a little something to be thankful for: new batteries in a cache when yours are dying, alpaca knit socks as a prize in a raffle at a VERY cold event, someone to meet with you in Rochester when you don't live anywhere near it, another flashlight under the back seat of your car, someone to volunteer their extra space heater at the same very COLD event, someone to carpool with, someone to volunteer to take your webcam pics, or just another person along for the walk. We are fortunate to live in an area that not only has every variety of cache, but every variety of cacher. While difference of opinion may make us not all get along, it does keep us on our toes and keep things interesting. I am thankful for the paths I have crossed, the tricks I have learned, and the friendships I have made-both in geocaching and not.
TONIGHT, I am thankful for good food (yum!), good company (hi, John) and the Sabres finally breaking a losing streak (woo hoo!!!!) So tomorrow, if you need a break from the family, need to walk off some turkey, or just can't handle the fact that a new 1/1 cache was published and no one has FTFd yet, come on out and find this cache. No pen, so bring your own, and write tiny. Initials are fine-I'll figure it out. And if you want to, let us know why you're thankful!
Congratulations to The Flashes on the FTF!
